Dairy farm located in Yarrow BC requires a permanent milker/ broiler farm labourer (this is not an egg collecting position and employer willing to train).
Work schedule:
- 7 Milkings per week - 32 hours
- Broiler duties per week - 14 hours
- Plenty of opportunity for additional hours.
Duties:
- Responsible for milking 120 cows in a double 8.
- Barn scraping, sawdust blowing, chasing cows and general barn chores.
- Dehorning calves.
- Assist with herd health and herdsman.
- Walk through poultry barns twice a day (minimal barn management).
- Cleaning and prep for new flock.
